I said I wasn't going to buy it, but after a few minutes with the demo, I had to buy it. For some reason I really liked it right off the bat after killing only a few birds and getting killed by a rat
. Boy self control goes out the window when the demo is great looking, everything works the way I expect and there is a 10% off expiring at release .

Well controls are good atleast, Not to impressed though. Looks decent but why do animals fight better then a person? I mean they dodge and move like a trained fighter while your character is a tank lumbering around with a branch.

Demo looks and plays great - feels like a roided-up Gothic. For 3D vision users the game is beautiful but you have to disable shadows because they look messed up with 3D enabled. I am definitely going to play this game after I finish off the Gothic 3 stuff I have left.

From one of the forum reviews I read, they said AA doesn't work with ATI or nVIDIA cards that they tried (GTX 280 and HD 4670).

![]() I'm liking the game, its a lot better then Gothic 3, not an amazing game yet but not bad. The demo seems pretty linear so I hope it opens up like gothic. I most happy about the controls, their actually good! |

Yup buying it, demo sold me. Fans of Gothic should have troubles resisting this one, ppl that hated the Gothic series should stay away.
Now atleast I will have something new to play this weekend! |

That's not true. I thought the Gothic series were absolute ****. Bugs a plenty and horrible gameplay controls and design (there's a reason the series was taken away from them). I actually like this game so far. The demo is fun and so far it seems that they fixed all the complaints I had with the Gothic series.

Yeah im torn. I really liked the demo but I don't know if its worth the price of a full game. If I can find it for $30 I will get it right away but at retail price I rather play the waiting game.
