So is the "Real Mod" any good?

Also does anybody have a link to the FFB mod? The link seems to be dead!

My load times between races is really long, even using my 10k RPM Velociraptor HD, anyone else getting really long load times, also any updates to address this?

Anyone know the keyboard command to switch the view to an outside above the car view?

Thanks,

Vanz

as far as load times are concerned, it doesn't seem to have much to do with hdd, because half of the time it "loads" hdd activity light is null, so nothing is actually loading.

After patch 1.1 it will become an in-game ad.

I've bought nos, I have a key bound to it, yet nothing seems to happen when I press the key in a race, any ideas... ?

I have the $35k bmw 350i.... says nos upgrade is available, and it took $5 from me I bought it and has a check mark beside it in the upgrades area... why doesn't it work?

It's different for every car but as you slowly rev up your gear indicator will turn green and if you hold it there and launch with it you'll get a start benefit. If smack the throttle to the limiter you might never see it turn green.

V2 of the Real Mod is out, final I guess.
I do prefer it over any at this point, been playing all night. I didn't try V1 but drifting is pure joy and everything is improved. New added views too.

Just played for a few laps, seems easier now. It's the first mod for shift I've tried so my results may be a little different than yours.Overall I found the grip to be greatly improved, and the tendancy for the ass end to slide out is nearly gone(but still very do-able)It also cam with some great new camera views. The whole car bonnet cam is pretty cool, and there is also a new in-car with a wider view.Good mod and easy to install-uninstall as well.
