Default Any desktop GT220 numbers yet?

Several review of the desktop GT220 hit the intertubes yesterday and today. Nothing to "wow" the 3D crowd but there is some great potential for the HTPC market.

ECS released a passive cooled model with HDMI. Are there any numbers to show how these handle the advanced deinterlacers? I'd love to upgrade my 8400GS!

According to wikipedia VDPAU http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VDPAU and driver hw list: ftp://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Li...ppendix-a.html
GeForce G210 and GeForce GT 220 should support VDPAU C because of VP4 video architecture.
They are the most advanced and the best VDPAU today.

While feature set C are nice additions I'm mostly interested in what type of deinterlacing this chipset can handle. Many TV stations are 1080i and I'm deinterlacing to 1080p. While the basic deinterlacers do a very good job I'd like to have the options!

G210 is also new GPU and seems to have the same video engine.

The G220 appears to have a bit over this one...

GPU Clock: 635 MHz vs 589 MHz
Memory Interface: 128-bit vs 64-bit
Stream Processors: 48 vs 16

Plus you can get the G220 in 1GB DDR3 as well with a memory bandwidth of 32.4 GB/s as opposed to 8 GB/s.

As soon as I find a passively cooled on I may just have to pick it up...

Question Re: Any desktop GT220 numbers yet?

Reading the reviews it seem these card can do audio over HDMI by sending it over the PCIe bus. I wonder if this will work with the Linux drivers?

NewEgg has a 210 from MSI that is passive, but it requires 2 slots as it is just a big heat sink and not a heat pipe system
