Default Ubuntu 9.10 Beta core dump

I've installed Ubuntu 9.10 Beta / desktop amd-64 on a Asus M3N78 Pro, AMD Phenom 9500
and am unable to save xorg.con from nvidia-settings. Here's what I get:

yarkot@y-ub910-amd64:~$ sudo nvidia-settings

VALIDATION ERROR: Data incomplete in file /etc/X11/xorg.conf.
Undefined Device "(null)" referenced by Screen "Default Screen".

Segmentation fault (core dumped)
yarkot@y-ub910-amd64:~$
Bug report attached.
Let me know if there's anything else I can provide.
Regards,
Yarko
