hvn't burned much discs tho...but nero tends to be just a bit chunky...

I burn maybe 1 CD/DVD every month or so these days. Nero works fine for me.

Another vote for ImgBurn here, I also use Nero 9.

I don't usually burn alot of CD's/DVD's either.

can imgburn make video dvd's the way nero does? like drop the vob files into the videoTS folder and burn a dvd that will work on any dvd player?

Works fine. Depends on the .vob files though. If they're unlinked and stuff, I'm not sure how it's going to work, but everything you need to know on how to do it that way is on their forum. It can even detect DivX videos and arrange them specifically so you can play it on a DivX DVD player.
