Isn't Pro better then Home Premium
And Home Premium is all about media and stuff so...

I think all versions of Windows 7 (HP, Pro, Ultimate) come with Media Center. If I am not mistaken, it became standard in/after Vista.

I can only think of two reasons:
1) You really want to encrypt your drive using the MS solution BitLocker.
2) You want to easily install and use multiple languages.

I have not even seen promotion for 'extras' as with Vista.

BitLocker isn't really a benefit IMO since there are a lot of free alternatives like TrueCrypt.

As I have said before, Pro/Ultimate have HomeGroups and XP Virtualization.

so happy as UK is having postal strikes on the official release date so PC world posted it to counteract that

media center works great too with my pinnacle nano PCTV and vista ultimate wouldnt

Does anyone know if its possible to do an upgrade from Win 7 RC...or do I need to reinstall Vista ?
