Official Borderlands Feedback Thread

Ok so it appears the game is unlocked now for those who bought a retail copy.

I made a new thread since the other is 11 pages long with no impressions

I am on the fence with this one. The console guys at teamxbox.com compared it to Far Cry 2 in terms of game play and content apart from the variety of weapons available.

I am annoyed at the wait, but at least I will be able to play tomorrow (today?)

And people who got a retail copy early. It happens all the time, I used to get games early almost every release.

It looks ok... im an fps and an rpg fan, but I think i'll pass on this one. Frankly it looks exactly like fallout 3 (Seriously, the models look the same) except the gameplay is much different, and there is a shader to make it look all cartoony.

I'm awaiting dragons age. I was put off by the earlier footage but the latest stuff and the combat looks to be a+ stuff.

Same here. Don't feel like playing a Fallout3/FarCry2 game with cartoon graphics. Dragon Age looks to be nice and deep.

im looking forward to hearing what multiplayer is all about. however the idea of cartoon visuals arent impressing me, it looked *ok* in the screens i saw though ....
