My Arch Linux x86_64 is dead since I have upgraded to xorg-server 1.7.1 and newest official Nvidia drivers

KDM isn't able to start the environment. I have some strange entries in the logs saying that no device was found. My GPU is GeForce 8600M GT on a MSI laptop. Below is my Xorg.0.log.

Are you sure that is the same error? Could be different. I had no such problems before Xorg 1.7

It looks like xinerama support is fubar.

I disabled xinerama support in xorg.conf and am up again with the nvidia driver.
Like others mentioned before.
