well thats because rarely are the big hits. Look at some titles that changed things, Crysis comes to mind, it added alot of new elements i never saw before but didnt appeal. The issue is when pushing limits, most cant play it anyway.

I'm really hoping the next cod will be Call of Duty Vietnam. and i'll get flamed for this but the last game Treyarch did was and still is Fantastic, my fav cod multi player game by far!

it's patched up solid, and has *three* mappacks! IW never did this for us .... very much looking forward to the next "Treyarch" title

Not speaking of multiplayer at all but only singleplayer, I did like World at War, though it did lack the polish of the IW games. It just didn't feel as smooth I guess... rough around the edges. Also the end of the Japanese campaign was lame.

Multi though, I have no idea.

Yeah, I heard a new MoH is coming next year. I liked AA and Airborne... Pacific Assault sucked.

I thought it was a clever in-joke, or possibly the same guy who took the name Ghost to be funny after surviving a point-blank headshot, but supposedly Infinity Ward have said it is a different person, despite the identical voice and mannerisms.
