Well, the new power supply did not fix my crash/shut down problem either. It went 3 days until I was about to declare it fixed then locked up again. *cry*
That leaves the main board, CPU itself, the actual power outlet/power strip, or video card (doubtful) that could be causing it. The PC has only the basics in it now. Mainboard, 4 sticks of ram, video card, 1 hard drive, 1 DVDR drive. Anyway, it was not to do with Windows 7 after all. I got it to do it once in XP and once in Vista since then. |
