Bob, please don't call the members sexy and just stick to talking about video cards.
Thanks

Got the BFG GTX 285 OC last week, also upgraded power supply to handle it. Had some problems initially when trying to use the nvidia monitoring utility. Since I uninstalled nv monitor, things have been good.
And yes, the BFG GTX 285 OC has its clocks set over the specs on the box. I'm still debating whether I should flash the bios to lower the specs to what it is supposed to be. A question: Should I run two lines from the modular psu to the card, or is it okay to use one line with both connectors?

The Corsair HX650 uses modular lines, and the line with PCI-E connectors has two connectors on one line. But I am not sure of the current capacity of that one line. I was thinking it might be necessary to use two lines, one connector from each line, to supply sufficient current to the video card.

One line will be enough even if you oc. I run the same method on both my rigs with no issues and one has the same corsair psu
Edit- mine is even weaker at only 620w
