working patch for RH9 RPM 2.6.0-test7
Hi,
I tried to patching the unoffical RPM 2.6.0-test7 Kernel from: http://people.redhat.com/arjanv/2.5/....1.52.i686.rpm I unpacked the driver with: sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4496-pkg2.run --extract-only and patched it with (:http://www.minion.de/nvidia.html) patch -p0 < NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-4496-2.6.diff but all fails. Is there someone who have a working patch. thanks Martin |

ok, it was my mistake.
the following steps are necessary for patching: cp NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-4496-2.6.diff NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4496-pkg2/usr/src/ cd NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4496-pkg2/usr/src mv nv NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-4496 cat NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-4496-2.6.diff | patch -p0 |
