Screen goes black after generating xorf.conf in Fedora 10
Hi,
I am using 8400GS graphics card. I installed fedora10 and it worked well. the problem is now I have to install a xenarc touch kit which requires a xorg,conf file to write it's configuration. I created one with the commnad X -configure but when I did startx screen went black and i was not able to do anything. Any help  |

How do you think should anyone help you, if you don't give any details at all? No one knows your actuall xorg.conf, no one has seen your error-log, so how can anyone help you? At least you should attach here your xorg.conf and the xorg error-log.

You don't seem to be using nvidia driver - looks like it's nouveau instead, and that's what I think causes your problem.

Ya by default it took nouveau driver which is not installed in Fedora 10. In greater versions of Fedora it is installed.
I changed the driver to nv and now it's working fine |
