Any problems on 7 with it? Mines only a generic $8 mic I grabbed just to get by with. Thing is from reading about mic issues guys with all kinds of set ups are having trouble. Seems to be mostly a L4D issue with the PTT not working.

Not sure about L4D as I've not really played it much yet but I know it has worked for my wife when playing her Guild Wars game before.

As you can tell my mic is working, it's just annoying hearing my voice on my own speakers. My voice is intended to annoy my team mates (all with the exception of Rochelle....I know my voice is making her.....nvm)

I got it working where I'm not hearing myself. I've downloaded the updated FX drivers and they are working well.

It's an Asus P5E, X38 with a Supreme FX sound card. It's actually a daughterboard that can be physically removed.

That's the same card that I have.

• Remove the MS Drivers
• Before restarting pc, install the [updated] drivers for your card.
• Restart machine
• New Supreme drivers should work.

That's how I did it last night. And now everything is working the way it's supposed to.

So you actually uninstalled it from device manager DD? I thought it would just redetect and reinstall on reboot, but I sure will give it a try Bro, thanks!

It will redetect it if you do not install the FX drivers. That's why I installed them before I rebooted the PC.
