Default Official openCL support in official drivers in linux.

When can we expect official openCL drivers for linux. They have been in windows for quite a while now. Is it too much to ask to have openCL support as well as up to date vdpau support in the same driver?

There are no official opencl drivers for linux yet, but you can enjoy beta drivers from here:

The problem with the openCL drivers is that the vdpau support is dated. Those publically available drivers 190.29's are dated Even the ones on the developer site 195.17 are dated.

Thank you for including openCL in the 195.30's.

For me OpenCL doesn't work on 195.30, clGetDeviceIDs or clCreateContextFromType return NULL (both worked with 190.29). Any special tricks needed?

OpenGL renderer string: GeForce 8800M GTS/PCI/SSE2
OpenGL version string: 3.2.0 NVIDIA 195.30

Hmm, it works, but I had to change the initialization from clCreateContextFromType to clCreateContext. Nevertheless, it's cool that it's included now!
