Wow, that's amazing. It's crazy how just shifting the image like that can smooth the edges so nicely.

From the looks of it.. it requires one factor and exploits another. 1) The source needs to be running at 60fps or more... shifting pixels at anything lower would def be noticeable. Some might notice it as it is now, since many can still notice differences in the 30-60 band. 2) the display of the PSP is a pretty standered tft, so effective fps is 24-30 before natural blurring occurs. Shifting at 60fps uses this defect to blur edges.
It would be hard to use on other platforms due to no control over the display used. CRT and the 120hz HD displays, as well as the lack of most games these days running faster then 30fps, would keep this from being useful.
