GodMode for Windows 7

By creating a new folder in Windows 7 and renaming it with a certain text string at the end, users are able to have a single place to do everything from changing the look of the mouse pointer to making a new hard-drive partition.

The trick is also said to work in Windows Vista, although some are warning that although it works fine in 32-bit versions of Vista, it can cause 64-bit versions of that operating system to crash.

It does work. Just tried it. Just looking at all the stuff in the folder may make you think your a god of Windows 7.

can someone post an image what is actually in there?

edit just tried it under 7 64bit no crash, nothing special, it just everything from control panel in a list

I did have a BSOD but I was playing Dirt 2. I'm working on a screen shot for you.

Who said it had to only be on your desktop? I made the folder inside of my Utilities folder on my D drive.

Crashed my Vista64 Home explorer.exe. I had to ctrl-alt-del to start up taskmanager to be able to run cmd so i could get to my desktop folder to delete the GodMode folder. With the GodMode folder still there the explorer.exe crashed every time it tried to restart.
