Question Dual monitor setup (Twinview) not working anymore after upgrading GNU/Linux driver

Hi all,

I have two identical 22" monitors connected to a GeForce 8400 GS (the card has both VGA and DVI ports). I've been enjoying this setup (TwinView) for months, but this week I upgraded the NVIDIA driver to latest version (190.53) -as well as the rest of my system-, which is Debian Testing-, and the dual setup stopped working.

The X server "sees" the two monitors (i. e, the desktop size corresponds to two monitors), but one is black and no image is shown. I can drag windows or move the mouse to the black monitor and the space is there, but I can't see anything.

I just wonder if anybody else has experienced this problem after an upgrade. Of course I've tried running nvidia-settings, tweaking my xorg.conf file and everything that came to my mind, with no luck.

This is how my xorg.conf file looks (it worked perfectly before the upgrade):

Code:
