i saw a good improvement on bbc i-player content, about 10% cpu on full screen

no quality problems with full screen playback that was a non starter for the flash bta 1

have not had any browser crashes or anything yet so looks positive.

I've been getting crashes that have not happened before (in IE) especially when closing tabs with flash in the page. So uninstalled it until the next version.

The only annoying thing about this version is how the cursor bounces from pointer to hand like crazy whenever an flash ad appears on a page. Anyone notice this?

Yes Adamk I noticed that and that is why I uninstalled the flash beta and put the official version back on.

Since eVGA precision 1.9 was released I've been able to check GPU usage. I have two GTX 285s in SLI. While watching HD videos on GameTrailers I noticed GPU 1 at 6% while GPU 2 is at 4%. Pretty interesting.

Chrome uses the Webkit rendering engine, and Webkit has the netscape plug-in interface, so you should be able to use Flash if you copy the libraries to some place IIRC (at least on Linux it works that way, Flash compatibility is given with the Firefox plugin if you copy it to its internal directories).
