I'd like to see some Fermi/5970 benches for that Stalker: COP benchmark. It looks pretty cool.

Fermi's average frame rate result wasn't much above the minimum i got with a single HD5970.


Max frame rate 144 Fps.
average at 103 Fps.
Minimum at 75 Fps.


Going from one HD5970 to a second one seems to scale very nicely actually,at least onn average and maximum frame rates,not so much for the minimum though.

A Single dual Fermi card is going to get ~118fps Average on the same benchmark.

Dual SLI fermi cards will get ~ 132fps average


In crysis:

Single Fermi = 55FPS (GTX 380)

Single Dual Fermi Card (GTX 395) = 79FPS

Dual SLI Fermi cards (2 x GTX 380) = 89FPS

Yeah Crysis finally over 60fps!!!!

If I told you were I got this information I would have to kill all of you...

Well considering that these things are under NDA and this is an nvidia fan-site routinely visited by all kinds of people, I am sure these bits of information you are dispensing could easily be traced back and you would be in some serious trouble.

But hey, what do I know about NDA's

So about 13% faster for the Dual GPU fermi versus the dual GPU HD5970 card...Any idea on when they'll show up though?

What settings?....I'm CPU limited at 8X AA,DX10 mode everything at ultra high,supersample AA:




Made this run just now,with 4X AA and using multisampling,all other settings the same,and it's the same FPS,didn't go any higher,even though i'm using an i7 920 at 4 Ghz.

I can't believe that you get the same frames with 8XSSAA that's nuts. I noticed you didn't run in 64bit, is there a reason?

As far as i know,it doesn't enable anything extra or improve performance overall.

I never signed an NDA or agreed to one... but maybe the little birdie who told me did...

Anyway, still not fast enough... lol.

BTW you need a GTX275+ to get Nvidia PhysX fluid demo/benchmark (Fluids: Technology Demo) to run at 60FPS using the Logo scene... That's crap.

We are soon going to have to buy a dual Fermi for video and a fermi for physX.
Not cool.
