Could this be a consequence of running Advanced 2x on the 9400 and 8500GT's that are generally said to not be capable of doing this - however I've been running it with no apparent problem, other than the current thread topic! I've dropped them back to Temporal 2x for now and will keep testing.

The attachments came from using Temporal 2x on a 8500GT PCIe GPU.

The problem seen was the video image froze on a frame and mythtv would not recover, so had to be closed. The exact error message subsequently displayed following pressing escape was "Error was encountered while displaying video."

The interesting thing is this appears to have occurred at ~2009-10-23 13:00:03.894, which is the time Mythtv transitions the live recording file to the next one. (Live recordings are stored in 30 minute sections) I see no particular error was noted in the log then.

I do not recall an issue at 07:23 as when I do I increment the logfile number.

The later 190.53 and 195.xx versions are working much better.

What is your video card, is it PCI or PCI-e, and if PCI what is your chipset - and is it compatible - see the nvidia readme????

Geforce 9400GT. PCI-e.
As far as I know it is compatible.
I have no problem with most channels and the analog TV tuner (PVR150) only with specific channel of DVB-T.

0.22fixes from Avenard's repositories.
Mythbuntu 9.04 (that was upgraded from 8.10 not clean installation).
Thank you for your help.

I'd probably install a clean 9.10 if at all possible. Else ask on the mythtv user list.
