Xorg crashing randomly about once a day, v185, x86_64, KDE 4.4, GeForce 7900 GT
For about half a year now (since I bought the HW) this computer has been crashing randomly about once a day. The backtrace is always the same:

A question for the experts: if the crash occurs again, can I expect the memory locations in the backtrace here to be the same (if it's crashing from the same spot), or will it differ from time to time?
I am running KDE 4.4, but this issue was also there back in 4.3 too. Enabling composite _does_ cause the crash to occur more often (it seems), but xorg also sometimes crash with it disabled, so I do not believe this is the single cause.
The can crash occur while using any application, but it seems to be connected to the user actually doing something (have not observed any crashes while computer idles so far).
I have been through many drivers versions as well, but they all had this crash. I am currently on 185.
The attached Xorg.0.log.old file is the one remaining from after the crash. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to assist in resolving this.
