For console games.
There's a few games out that have no demos. I seem to remember a demo for almost every game on XBL. Maybe it's just me. |

There aren't many updates for PSN that include a new demo. |

I have noticed it back when I had 360 year ago. There wasnt too much demos going out. Albo not too much arcade games.

There have been a few. A few betas too. I just got into one of some PS3 game. Nothing of note though.

Really? It can be a way to try a game you're not sure of, or get a little taste of a big game coming soon like GoW3.

I try to steer clear of demos for games I already know I'm going to buy so as not to spoil anything, but I agree about games you are on the fence about. Although lately I've just been using Gamefly to demo games, which works out better anyway because if i like the game I just buy it through them and save a few bucks.
