If you're comparing them to Crysis, then you're right. Compared to the average game though, I think those shots look pretty nice.

I wasn't really comparing them to any specific game, but I can see what you mean Crysis has spoiled many of us.

If Crysis is so great how come no one licensed the engine?

Because to make money you need to go multiplatform, and it was built for the PC. Cryengine 3... that will be the test.

And hey, Merchants of Brooklyn wasted... I mean used... the CE2.

I totally agree! I am a huge BF fan. I have played em all that were available on PC. 1942 was revolutionary, vietnam was fun ( iloved the music in that game) , then BF2 was and still is one of the most played multiplayer games ever , then 2142 (which in my opinion was a failed attempt to please the BF fan with a sequel. It was glitchy and basically a modded BF2 not a new game in itself. We still wait for a true sequel to BF2......right now I am playing the BC2 demo off steam and it's good but feels like it's been stripped down to the basics( no commands , not like bf2 with a menu and choices) simple objectives lots of destruction. Excited to play the whole game soon but i feel it will not replace the hunger for a true BF2 sequel. Abats
