New Graphics Card Issue - Help!

Hi I recentley brought a Gigabyte GTX 260 Super Overclocked card. When I installed it at a friends place I only had one 6 pin PCI-e cable that connects to the gpu from the psu. So it was running only off of one. Played a couple games such as BFBC2 and was getting 40-60 fps and when I came home I installed the other 6 pin PCI-e cable and my fps has lowered to about 25-41 fps. Anyone know why? I have an 850W PSU.

well its hard to say because your friend might have a faster pc?
