I think the 384-bit bus is confirmed, though I donno about the memory. I wish I stilled had the evga 285 1gb that i foolishly returned. I didn't think (at the time) $340 was a worthy upgrade from 8800GTX SLI. Now one of my 8800s died. That 512-bit bus and 1gb memory really made everything smooth. Even GTA4 was like butter.

Unless NVIDIA's next-gen can match the Radeon 5870 in offering low GPU temps and fan noise, I won't be interested.
I despise having to use headphones to drown out fan noise from a graphics card running at full-speed, such as the GeForce GTX 295. I'm aware that the GeForce GTX 295 is based on a dual-GPU, but NVIDIA's single-GPU cooling solutions have been very effective. Cooling three billion transistors, without water-cooling, is a huge challenge, but time will tell. Can't wait for the reviews! |
