you could just preorder from gamestop and walk in Tuesday morning and pick it up. Or a lot of the stores are having a midnight release if you want to try that.

Yes. They are having some issues with the Steam installer, but they are supposed to be preloading.

It's gonna make me mad if I have to wait until 5PM tomorrow night to download the game. That would be a major Steam FAIL.

You were missing my goofy humor, which is probably very understandable.

I was using preload as another word for shipped.

Should be here by 1pm tomorrow, which is before Steam will unlock it I bet

This game tries really hard to be MW2 though. So much of it is so similar. There is even a part where it's trying to be Crysis with the "stay warm" thing. On its own its an amazing SP, but there are so many parallels I see. I'm hoping the MP is better than the beta which I hated. From the awful hitbox damage to just the performance and textures. I'm hoping I don't just play 6 hours of SP and never get into the MP, cause $50 is a lot of money for only 6 hours of game play.

The only issue I had with the MP in COD MW2 was the cheaters but most of that has been cleaned up. A lot of the cheater kiddies are moving onto this anyways. Worst case scenario I play BF BC2 SP then go back to COD MW2 MP.

It would not surprise me at all. In fact that's what I'm expecting. These things never go off without a hitch on steam. But oh well just have to be somewhat patient maybe just a tad bit more than a 5 year old

Steam rarely ever had preloads for 3rd parties before Dragon Age, so I don't know how no preload for this would be a major fail.

Keep in mind that BC2 release is pretty huge, a pre-load is to be expected. Although, I'm not too worked up about having to wait an extra 20 minutes or so once the game is released if there is no pre-load.

Size never mattered before Dragon Age.

GTA4 had no preload.

The whole point is it was never common, and still isn't really. It would not be major fail, more like preloads are major win.
