Well, the pad support on all those games is seamless, and the sensitivities etc are set up just like on the 360.

It's not like the devs just slap 360 pad support on. It gets crafted pretty carefully sometimes, and the results can be smooth easy and comfortable.

I get all that, but they still do not play better with a pad. Even most console fanboys would admit FPS and RTS controls are something the PC has a leg up on.

I am not trying to be annoying, I just more want to understand why you like it. The couch thing doesn't work because of a lap pad as I have said before (plus it bears mentioning that a comfy desk chair can be just as good as a couch if you spent enough money on it). So what other reason to use a pad is there?

Force Feedback?
I've been using gamepad whenever possible lately. It's more comfortable, I don't need to set up sensitivity and it's just generally more relaxing.
