The pop-in in general is worse in this one it seems.

Excellent game, happy it has turned out way better and more fun that I thought it would. It really is greatly improved, love how busy everything is.
Anyone know when the tutorial part ends? I had a sword, now 'someone' took my sword away and all I have is the sleeve knife. Shops won't sell me weapons saying Out of Stock. When is the game going to open up so I can do as I see fit?

Whether it be the DRM, the long delay or general disinterest, AC2 seems to be not getting much actual game attention on PC.
Me though, I am freaking loving it. The pop-up and boxy distant buildings still make it worse LOOKING to me than the original, but the gameplay, story and general feel... hooooo boy, so awesome. Anyone else loving it?

Yup, this game is exceptional.
Whoa, the game has income and money management, nice! Game is pretty much open now, though some missions force you to use certain weapons by magically Not much fear factor in this game as it appears to be set on Easy difficulty with no way to change it. Perhaps later on the difficulty ramps up a fair bit? Game seems like a total cake walk so far.Absolutely love the pickpocketeurs. Brilliant idea forcing one to use roof tops more often to help avoid these pesky buggers. I very much suck at finding the feathers and sadly a look at the PDF owners manual pretty much spoiled what the feathers are eventually for, I think. ![]() So is throwing money the only way (distraction) to get in here with out killing anyone? I know prostitutes are another method but there never seem to be any around. ![]()

I am considering this game, but with the DRM I am cautious. One question, if you're in the middle of playing and your internet gets disconnected, does it restore from where you exactly were, or does it put you back at the last check point in the game?

QUOTE=Crow_Nest;2205969]You can also hire thieves and soldiers to distract guards later in the game. You will also gain a poison blade upgrade for your hidden blade that will also serve as a distraction.[/quote]
How will having a poison sleeve blade enable me to sneak in there with zero fighting? I would still have to approach and attack them, soon as I take one out the other 2 would attack on site. I tried the throwing knives but same thing, if you kill one from a far, the other 2 come immediately after you. Seems throwing knives are only really useful for killing lone enemies. Perhaps stealth is not a strong point in this sequel? Matter of fact, every boss assassination I've done so far has been an unavoidable, big mess fight instead of smooth, professional, stealthy hit. Maybe the lack of Blend button is partial cause of this?
