Single overclocked HD 5870. It's an old bench when this first came out done @ 1000|1300.
DX10 everything default = 121.2 FPS http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/964...bendefault.jpg DX11 no tesso + default filtering @ 1920x1200 = 66.2FPS http://img98.imageshack.us/i/heaven11notesso.jpg/ DX11 with tesso + default filtering @ 1920x1200 = 41 FPS http://img27.imageshack.us/i/heaven11.jpg/ DX11 no tesso is what a current nVidia card would deliver. It's basically DX10 with tesso off.

My scores to make it official....First off, same settings as the leaked GTX480 results shown in the Nvidia marketing video on you tube:
![]() Second one is at 4X AA,16X AF at 1920*1200 in DX11 mode: ![]() Now we go into really brutal mode with it....Same as above except it's all happening at 8X AA using supersampling AA mode, not multisampling, though i gotta admit, the visual differences are extremely minor compared to the above settings, but the performance drop is noticable to say the least: ![]() I can definitely say that under the above settings,it sure isn't my CPU holding the cards back anymore, but when will we see games packing this caliber of visuals?....Don't hold your breath.. ![]() |

Shadow - I'll post my benchmarks after I rebuild my machine with its new motherboard and 1200 Watt Power supply.
I too have dual 5970's now, and a GTX285 for physx. |

Just as an update, installed the latest Catalyst 10.3a preview drivers, which were released earlier today, and got this result at the same settings as the above result, which was run using the 10.2 driver set. ![]() It's faster by about 5 FPS over the 10.2 drivers, and there's many more games with similar speed ups,and even higher as well,so it looks like ATI is preparing a warm welcome for Fermi.... ![]() |

Was up to 46.8 with the 10.3a driver using v1 of this bench. v2 smacked my AMD rig all the way down to 40.8 FPS avg.
Anyway 1920x1200 DX11 default filtering with normal tess = 40.8. Link to a full detailed screen cap below. http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/6420/heavenv2.jpg Card was a single HD 5870 @ 1030|1300 using the 10.3a driver.
