When I was running Windows 7 x86, I could play UT3 without any problem, but I was bored and decided to fire it up for some good ol' fragging, and to my surprise... the game does not run now I have the x64 version of Windows 7.
It tells me the Visual C++ runtime asked to end in an unusual way so it closes, and... nothing more. I've tried to download the latest redistributables for both VC++2005/2008 in both flavors (x86/x64) but nothing... Has anyone experienced the same I'm experiencing now? Is there a patch or a remedy for this? It sucks, to be honest... Any hint would be appreciated ![]() Julio |

I saw the same thing. It turned out to be AVG antivirus stopping it from running...
