Question FX 5200 Twinview, Dual CRT Xinerama Problems

Does Xinerama work with twinview over two CRT's?

With a Gforce4 MX, and Voodoo 3 card, I was running dual displays with perfect Xinerama. I could maximaze windows, and they would maximize on only one screen.

I just installed an FX 5200 card with two CRT's attached. Display 1 is using the regular CRT connector, and Display 2 is using a DVI-CRT adapter on the DVI Port. Both screens are working right now.

My problem, is that I would like xinerama to work like it did with two separate cards. I would like to maximize windows to a single screen, drag and drop between screens, and hopefully, GL on both screens.

Gentoo Linux
Kernel 2.4.20-r7
Xfree 4.3.0-r3
NVIDIA 4496 Drivers

I have included snippits of my XF86Config.

Cool

It seems that not too many people are running dual displays with a 5200FX.

If anyone has any tips on getting maximizing to a single monitor with twinview working, I would love to know about it.

Thanks.

Default

Turn Xinerama off in the ServerLayout. This is mentioned in the NVidia README file,
If the XFree86 Xinerama extension is on it overrides Nvidias xinerama support, Turn it off and the Nvidia driver provides Xinerama support.
