That was just my first quick glance of the numbers, I skipped around a bunch.

The pages are no longer working for me, so I can't check it again.

Anyways, you're probably correct. Ignore me.

Hope sites bench titles with PhysX both off and on.
Not in SLI and btw Crossfire doesn't help as far as Metro 2033 goes, it's still slide show with 4x AA.

I'm not spending 1k on graphics cards for one title that uses PhysX I don't even happen to play.

Looks like Nvidia has one heck of a single GPU card on their hands with the 480 if those numbers are accurate. I'm quite impressed with all the benches with the exception of Stalker COP.

But... insanely stupid to include the PhysX benchmarks when everyone knows good and well that it doesn't work on ATI cards. Apples to apples comparison, anyone?

Also, strangely enough, 5970 numbers were excluded. Wonder why.

How about the fact it is 2 gpus and not 1.

And yet, they include the SLI benches for the 480....

Aside from that, it doesn't matter if it has 2 GPUs or 16 GPUs. The cards (5970, 480) are in the same price bracket and are the high-end card choice of both companies.

I hope they provide benches with PhysX on and off. I'd agree, if they're going to show SLi results for the 480, the 5970 and 5870 Crossfire should be included. 480 is supposed to be about 500usd I believe so SLi = 1k. 5970 is around 700usd and 5870 Crossfire is around 840.

Very nice results, except for Stalker. Maybe a driver issue.

Lol, Metro 2033 even seems to conquer a single 480 GTX GPU. 30 fps is a big improvement over AMD's (not to mention Physx was enabled, so not entirely fair for AMD) , but it still is just on the edge.

Looking very forward to reading more reviews tomorrow.

I'm holding out for Anandtech's review before I make any final decisions.

I'd really like to see some overclocking results though. With those big ass coolers these things should overclock pretty well... right?

Not sure. They are reported to be hot cards.

I'm going to read all the official reviews too. I'm interested in how a single OCed 5870 stacks up vs a single OCed 480.

Outside of titles with PhysX enabled, I'm not seeing a whole lot of reasons to dump a 5870 @ 1030|1300 for 1920x1200 play.

I'll have to flip my case upside down so that the grill will be face up. I can stick a burger on there while I game so that I'll have dinner when I'm done.
