The problem as I see it with full-cover waterblocks for gpus is that they only fit one type of card. They are pretty expensive as well, meaning you'll have to buy new ones every time you upgrade. Plus they reduce the flow-rate much more than a regular core-block. Love the fact that both camps have taken this into consideration when designing the cooling solutions for the 5850(the cooler on the 5870 must be hardmodded) and GTX 480.

Hahah, you know what, since I've been working 3rd shift, I didn't know that yesterday was the 25th. I posted this thread thinking it was Friday the 26th....wow I'm gonna need a vacation!!

Are you sure that rampage 3 supports 4-way sli? The previews i read only mentions 2-way and 3-way sli connector in the package.

. I got an EK VGA Supreme universal block for the 260 because full blocks aren't available for the 192sp any more. Would you say the same block would do for the Fermi, along with ramsinks for the other chips, or would you say a full block is needed?

You know, Took off today and this event is starting to become really frigging cool to wait for. Piece by piece things are starting to be revealed. I don't care if I have an ati card or not. This is really a cool time to be into pc gaming gear. DX 11 with support from both sides!! consoles be damned!! You Rock NV and ATI!!

Wouldn't evga have a 4 way nvidia mainbord solution, or am i just misunderstanding this topic.
