Default Project Offset moderator leaving/forum closing

http://software.intel.com/en-us/foru...73026&o=d&s=lr

Looks like bad news for Project Offset, but we will see...

Quote:
Some may already know about me leaving Intel and the Offset team at the end of this week (3/26/2010). Yes it’s true; I’m off to chase my life’s goal – living vicariously as a beach bum. ☺

In relation to this, the decision has been made to shut down the forums.

I would like to thank all of the fans, especially the teapots for sticking around the countless hours with me. I would also like to thank the many who transferred over to the new Intel Forums; I know it was tough for some. On the subject of that move over – X-Tor was our lucky user who will be taking home the i7+Mobo combo prize -- Congrats Man!

In Ending, I wish both the fans and the team the best of luck; if you are ever looking to get in touch with me, just add a dot com to either one of my names.

Best Wishes and Game ON!

The Project is dead anyway. Not like Intel was going to release a game anyway.

wasn't project offset supposed to be like a demo for Larrabea? they will drop the game now since it won't serve a purpose now.

This game seems to have been in development for ages. At one point it looked promising but when the news hit that it was being developed for Larabee the forum lost quite a lot of regular users. Oh well another one bites the dust i guess. :/

To see the announcement of the new community surely , they have a good service of news by email

Amazing, it's like Crysis but with the effects of Metro 2033, the map of Oblivion and the artistic direction of Rembrandt .

they can't spare some guy to check up on the forums every few hours? Sounds like they have a lot of funding.
