I have problems using TwinView under linux. I would like to connect a TV in addition to my DFP. The TV should display (clone) a portion of my dektop namely the 800x600 area in the upper left corner of my dektop.
My primary display is an DFP with a native resolution of 1600x1200.
When I start up Xfree86, I only get an 800x600 resolution on _both_ my DFP and TV, despite the MetaModes line which says:
"1600x1200, 800x600; 800x600, 800x600"
which is obviously not what I want.
Find attached my XF86Config-4 and the Xfree log file.
Thank you for any help!
