Have not seen anything on this yet. Anyone else ? Got a q6600 at 3.6 with my ram at 1126. Trying to figure out when I should move to i7 as I do not want to bottle neck the card when I get it.
Gaming at 1080p so I may not need to for a while and I will be using my old 8800 gt for physx like I am now. What do you guys think ?

A Q6600 at 3.6 is going to be faster than most CPUs currently available at stock clocks, so it shouldn't be a bottleneck in most cases. As always, CPU bottlenecks depend on the situation and the game, so you'll probably have some instances where you're CPU limited but in general it shouldn't be a problem.
I'm sure you'd see a very solid performance increase by going with a 480.

Just make sure you turn the IQ settings high enough so that the GPU becomes the bottleneck.

Supersampling is a easy fix to shift the bottleneck to GPU.
1980x1080 x 4 (2x2) is a ****load of pixels to render.

Hence the point of getting the card in the first place, for GPU limited games...

The i7 runs SLI and TRI SLI faster then the old Q6600.I have had both and at the same speed the i7 on a X58 motherboard ran faster, then my SLI on my 680 SLI motherboard.
