I just can't see how those 480's are connected to the motherboard. It looks like the last (or first) card is not even connected. Also there is a plastic wrap covering the fan on that same card?
No LEDs on the top of the 480 are on? Source guru3d link

Looks like a single big SLI bridge that goes over all four cards.

OK, the SLI Bridge connects to the inner edge of all 4 cards. I can only imagine a 1KW worth of heat being generated by those cards.
