It's not supposed to be pay to play. It will however have some kind of micro-transaction system. It hasn't been decided according to official forum.

Rebooted at 92% in the hope that it would continue at 92% after reboot but now it starts at 0% again, what a complete garbage launcher.

Just tried it, I find it utter crap, Just Cause and GTA are so much better, APB is almost too sad to compare it with Just Cause and GTA.

I thought it goes again from the beginning too, but it doesn't, it resumes where you left of, only the counter resets.

I like the idea that it is multiplayer, but everyone seems to just do their own thing. Yes I know it is a beta, but this game has a ton of graphical glitches.

Downloading now. So, I don't understand, will the download restart when if I shut down? Or do I have to keep my computer on overnight?

Looks like a pretty neat game, I like Cops vs. Robbers kinda stuff. But if it's a pay-per-month thing, then forget it.

After testing it, the launcher works fine. If you close it, it resumes at 0% but it checks to see what you have downloaded. So if you downloaded 2GB out of the 8GB total, it does 0% with 6GB left when you open it again.
