Default Best video card for VDPAU?

I currently have this 8400GS video card:

Is there a better video card for VDPAU playback? I don't do any gaming at all. I sometimes get a very nasty visual problem that might be "tearing" from some 1080p stuff.

GT220 can do temporal spatial deinterlace for 1080i and has new hq scaling (VDPAU Feature Set C).

GT240 also has VDPAU feature C. Look at VDPAU column at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nvidia_PureVideo to see which VDPAU featureset which GPU has.

Better get a gf 210 - it supports VDPAU C and its really cheap - i have one (Asus) and flies with 1080p - but if possible get a passively cooled one.
The 8400 has only VDPAU B.

Just a couple of notes: (1) The 8400 GS is marketed by NVIDIA to be at least VDPAU feature set A. Some 8400 GS are in fact VDPAU feature set B. NVIDIA doesn't provide any official way to determine which feature set a given 8400 GS will be prior to purchase. Some users have reported being able to tell based on GPU clock specifications. (2) The README file packaged with the NVIDIA driver provides a definitive list of supported GPUs and their VDPAU feature set.

Right now, if I was buying a GPU, I'd definitely buy a card with VDPAU feature set C, probably a mid-high range card to get the best de-interlacing performance.
