The game when not raiding is not a problem, but it is when I raid then its becomes a problem

I normally run raids in DX9 mode / shader 3 at res of 1920 by 1200 with 4X aa And 16AF (in game) with all sliders for visual effects maxed except with shadows and SSAO off and particles on low and only to myself. Even then, the i get like FPS in the 5-15 fps region when everyone is throwing stuff with lots of particle effects including the boss.

Normally DX10 isn't an issue in non raid situations also. DX10 is a no go for raids.

Sure I could turn the res down but, I like the 1920 by 1200 res for a sweet spot with my UI layout

I would appreciate any feedback.

How about potain area too where there are lots of grass?

I suspect it will be the same deal as LotRo tbh. LotRo runs perfectly everywhere until you get into a raid, and then you need to start lowering details in order to get smooth gameplay

Seems kinda high for your room temps and single card configurations. When I use just one 480, it doesn't get above 95C after 2 hours of hard benching even at 75F. It's much cooler than that if I only push it for 30 mins or less.

i have it for over two weeks now, highest room temp one day was 80f, and highest card temp so far i seen was 86c

Yeah, that's pretty crazy. Based on what I've seen, not many people are getting that kinda cooling performance on air.

Even my bottom 480, which idles at 44C, will get up over 90C if I bump the AA way up on stress benchmarks.

Well my card is on auto profile. but my system is pretty quiet and doesn't have extreme airflow. It's a p183 case probably not the best case for max cooling. With fans moving 49cfm probably not the best but they sure are quiet.

With all the people still trying to get 480's, Amazon just sent me a third one (and charged me) for no freaking reason! Now it will probably take me a few weeks to get my money back.

Did some tests. Both cards run at 800/2000 fine for everything, except Uniengine Heaven benchmark. It keeps giving me a fatal direct3d11 error and/or black screen. when I had just one card, it ran fine. However, once I reduced memory clocks to 1990, everything's fine again, and I could complete the benchmark with no problem. Weird.

What drivers are you using? I can only get Heaven to do 51 fps on my SLI 480s at the same clocks at only 1080p using 4xAA. My CPU isn't as good and not clocked as high, but does that matter in such a GPU intensive situation?
