Default GTX 470 support.

Hello all,

I'm thinking about pre-ordering a GTX 470 card for my Xeon dev machine (sig below).
Is it supported by the 195 driver series?

Currently there are no publicly available Linux drivers for Fermi.

I suspect they will be released after or on April, 12, since exactly on that day Fermi cards become widely available in retail/etail.

I expect updated drivers to become available with retail products. However, the current 195.36.xx driver release already supports the GeForce GTX 470, so worst-case, you could use 195.36.15.

FYI post.

Finally got the card last weekend.
- Power off workstation.
- Pull out 9800GTX.
- Put Gainward 470GTX.
- Power on workstation.
- Done.

I didn't really have time to put the card through it paces, but I did manage to run Unigine Heaven, and the performance @1920x1200 were ~3x faster than the 9800GTX/512MB's performance @1024x768... (And I forgot to disable KDE composition which more or less slaughtered the performance on the GTX9800...)

@nVidia/Linux people: Great job! Thanks!

EDIT: Forgot to add: I'm using the RPMFusion packaged drivers v195.36.15.
