I'm not sure if this was posted elsewhere, I did a quick search, nothing.
http://www.thegamersblog.com/2010/05...s-card-market/ It's on several sites. They are going to focus on laptops and PSU's. They are not going to make ATI cards. They will also honor RMA's and warranties and have a good stock of cards, but won't be selling any new cards. I posted this here because it's the second (I believe) GPU maker that's not selling Fermi cards. It seems the scaled back production of G200's was too early and Fermi was late. Also BFG sold Nvidia MB's which are pretty much done. I guess they just can't make any money on these cards. |

This is a bummer. I always thought they were a great brand. #2 behind Evga for sure.

Remember the shortage of G200's before Fermi? I think that really hosed them. I have a BFG 285 and I was going to get another, but I guess I'll just get a 480 or wait for refresh.

its true, but doesn't matter since all cards are made in same place.

What I meant is that (IMHO) BECAUSE of the Fermi they are bowing out this generation. I believe the Fermi played a big part for both companies exit from the market. Chillax, shaw.................. |

BFG, was in trouble before FERMI, first they pulled out from Europe, and now this.
I had two BFG 7800GTs before, but later on EVGA simply overed better service.
