If it feels better with vsync, just enable it and go with that. Those additional frames above 60 FPS are, like agentkay said, useless anyway.

Are you guys running 1920 monitors though? Mine is 1680 so my fps in most games are like 100+ fps which is what I love about high end stuff. Thats why it sucks so much to have to enable vsync though. I didn't have to with the hd5870. I'm just wondering if I went up to a 1920 monitor with AA enabled and dropped from say 100+ to 70 fps if that would also cure it since my GPU wouldn't be spitting out twice as many fps as my refresh rate is at.

Im idling at 55C, House temp is 25C... is that good?

Im reading that the core clock drops to 50mhz on idle but mine is hovering around 135mhz. Using eVGA Precision tool.

At 25C it is normal I would say but it also depends what case you have and if you have any fans pointed on the card. Mine idles around 44-45C at room temp of about 22C, but I have a 120mm fan pointed at it and in general decent airflow.

Also your card might have slightly higher core voltage (mine is 987mV) which in turn could add a degree or two for better overclockability.

The memory on mine is at 135mhz, core is 51mhz and shaders 101mhz but I'm checking in MSI Afterburner

okay I am about to sell my core 216's to a guy on Ebay I'm going big! for a EVGA GTX 480
my question is whats the difference between these two cards? i know one is SC but cant I just overclock the lower price card to match or even beat the clock speeds of the other and save money?
