The winner is:
Mitsubishi Laservue 75" L75-A91

Laser DLP > *

PRO:
Biggest image (75")
Great contrast ratio
Great blacks - far better than LCD, nearly as good as Plasma - and they don't get lighter over time like Plasmas
No rainbow effect, as it has no color wheel thanks to triple lasers
No lamp to replace thanks to lasers, yet the size of a projection TV
3-D ready
No ghosting w/3-d that LCD has
No image retention like plasma, no burnin

CON:
Can't hang on wall (but who serious about HT actually does this anyway?)
$$$

Those are nice but their price puts them in the Kuro Elite territory which nothing can survive in imho. If you don't need 3D and have cash burning in the pocket there really is no alternative even after all this time
