I'm posting my settings in BFBC2. I run about 46FPS with these settings on average. I'm curious it this is due to my GPU or my CPU. Wondering what everyone else is getting with same settings at factory for the card. Thanks.

directx 11 and HBAO are the big fps killers
I run mine in directx 9 without HBAO Instructions to change DirectX version for BFBC2 1. Go to your Documents folder 2. Click open the BFBC2 Folder 3. Open Settings.ini file 4. Locate this option DxVersion=auto 5. Change auto to 9 You can find the settings in Steam by going to File\Settings\In-Game and uncheck the option Enable Steam Community In-Game |

I'd say force DX to 10 in the settings.ini. It will run better but you can still enable AA. Disable HBAO though in the game. DX9 will not allow for AA to be applied through the game. Also, to get rid of the jitter this game has without vsync on set render frames ahead to 0 in the settings.ini.

What are the clocks of your Q6600? It's a quad core, but at stock, it might hold you back. If you're pushing 3.2Ghz or more, though, it shouldn't be an issue.

If you've got a G0 stepping, then you can probably push the processor a little more. 1200mhz on the FSB is a modest overclock. If you've got a nice aftermarket cooler on the CPU, push that sucker! ![]()

9 x 330 FSB is 2970 but when I do this it gives me a 4 x 330 is 1320 FSB. Of course all of this messes with my ram Freqs and F's that up too. Not sure I like my board Bios!
