It's kinda weird being the ONLY one here with a GTX 465....
Or an HD 5830 for that matter... Has anyone else here bought one? If so how's it working for you? Although my review was done in my x3 rig, I now have my 465 in my (x3 at) x4 system, now with a proper monitor (Samsung 24" 1080p). I'll be re-running some benchies soon with this setup, as I think that the 465 is a bit sensitive to cpu limitation, and I think it's a lot happier with this extra core.

Wow, two of these in SLI should be pretty fantastic, probably a good notch above the performance of a single 480, right?

Seeing as how it seems to perform like a GTX275, which could be bought for less a year ago, I see no reason to bother.

One frame faster than a 275 in Crysis, two frames slower than a 285, and I would say Crysis/Warhead is still the best looking game on PC. :P

Don't forget, with the 465 you can overclock it to perform alongside a 470. And you can also fiddle about and perhaps unlock the extra shader cores if you are feeling up to it.

Which is why in my case I would just go for a 2nd 285 first.... which by the way since the 285s and 465s are so similar in performance I'd imagine 2 465's would outperform a single 480 in a non vram bound game
