Total conversion might be different, because with total conversion entire game world should be different.

Oblivion had one of the worst stories ever told, gonig from gate to gate, you could finish the game in 5-8 hours, for an RPG that is pathetic. Some might say but there was other side missions to do, fine there were but... world is falling apart; oblivion gates are opening, but wait I do a side mission, i will look for your post potatoes.

I don't get that complaint at all... if you feel like your character would do the gates immediately then, oh I don't know... do the gate immediately? You can always do all the sidequests after that.

there are two problems with that

1) Its the main story of the game, that can be finished in less than 8 hours for a RPG. Rest of the game is just side mission filler

2) The bigger more hilarious part is that world is falling apart and because of the stupid enemy/monster scaling system the world can be saved by a weak nobody, you can beat he game not even raising your character level, any peasant could save the world.

You can't play only the main mission, ignoring the dozens of hours of other missions, and then complain it was too short. Oblivion has a lot of problems but length is certainly not one of them. You can beat Morrowind in 7 minutes, but I spent 200+ hours on that game.

I agree, level scaling sucked. Thankfully they seemed to have learned that lesson judging by Fallout 3, where it was toned down almost to Morrowind levels. Now if they could just learn how to write dialogue we'd be good to go!

LOL, german voice acting? And in the english version as well? Hhahaha am not getting this. They just ruined 4 years of work by having german only voices.
