Default Gothic 4: Rough Console Walkthrough Vids

Two videos at gametrailers showing walkthrough gameplay of Gothic 4 recorded off a screen showing the Xbox version.

Start here: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3...-gothic/700809

He talks about adding accessibility but the only examples he gives is an annoying map on the main HUD and quest markers. Can't tell if that means quest arrow to the next checkpoint or not, could just be on the map. Either way, I hope they are able to be toggled.

Graphics look great. The only complaint I have is that the nameless hero looks nothing like what I expect from a gothic game. I like the burly bearded dude much better, not this emo guy.

Looks interesting.

Hopefully the combat isn't too simplistic.

Like some improvements, like the world feels better and the game offers direction better then the previous ones so people like me who dislike the no direction aspects of the previous ones.

I don't know how much I would like the simplified combat though. I would have to wait to see how well it works out, hopefully they didn't go all Fable 2 on us.

Looks/feels gothic like, so thats definately a plus.

Also, your character is not the nameless hero from the first 3 gothics.

Looks and feels like a Gothic game but the graphics are average and nowhere as good as Risen's. Especially the shadows (look in the background at the first conversation). I can assure you that if the PC version has these graphics, a lot of the 'NvNew-ers' will be disappointed and won't bother with this game

Considering graphically the console version of Risen looked pretty poor, it doesn't surprise me. I think you can rest assured the PC version will look better.
