I still play Gears 1 PC online sometimes. Fun stuff.

Plus I'm STILL playing through the campaign AGAIN for like the third time. Every time Lost Planet, Bioshock, Far Cry 2, HAWX or Mirror's Edge (the games I play with a wireless 360pad on my TV) piss me off I play Gears. lol, matter of fact, I've ditched Metro 2033 for Gears a couple times as well.

I sure hope Marcus Fenix comes back to the PC.

Marketing at its best, Gears of Wars profile showed up in Nvidia drivers couple months before any material leaked on the web, and they also denied it.

Exactly my point but watch, they will release 3 then complain about poor sales due to piracy. Not realizing GoW 3 wont sell well because PC gamers never had GoW 2. I wish I had a bat phone number to some of these developers right after their failed game launch so I could tell them why their game didn't sell on the PC. Gears reminds me of Halo...

I hear everyone talking about it, how it's such a revolutionary game, etc etc. It finally comes out for PC, I play it...and said "warthog and sticky grenades were nice. otherwise, very average and underwhelming shooter, guess they never played Half Life".

Gears of War...it was allright, but I didn't find it worthy of the praise it received.

It was like 3 years after the xbox version. I'm sure it was more exciting when it came out for the rrod_box than by the time we got it. I really enjoyed the cp-op ability.

Bah CliffyB is still just mad that he didn't get as many awards on PC as he did on 360 for Gears 1, despite the fact that Gears on PC had more game types and the textures were 100x better.

I will be playing Gears 3 on 360, so I really don't care what is or isn't coming to PC.

They will still sell a bunch because people will buy it regardless of whether or not they have the backstory. It's a numbers game.
